• Select which key is to be specified in the "Default key" list box (Key 1- Key 4).
NOTE
If only one key is assigned, select "Key 1".
• Define the length of the key in the "Length" list box.
¹ 40 Bits (5 ASCII characters or 10 hexadecimal figures (0-F).
¹ 104 Bits (13 ASCII characters or 26 hexadecimal figures (0-F).
¹ 128 Bits (16 ASCII characters or 32 hexadecimal figures (0-F).
¹ AUTO (5 / 13 or 16 ASCII characters or 10 / 26 or 32 hexadecimal figures
NOTE
If "AUTO" is selected, the maximum key length is 128 Bits.
• Enter the character string per the definition of the customer's network administrator in
the "Key" text box. Admissible characters: All ASCII characters or alternatively hexa-
decimal figures (0-F). Observe the key length ("Length" list box).
NOTE
If a key that is too long or too short is entered, an error mes-
sage appears.
