Maximum cable length
The RF180C can be operated with every reader configuration with the maximum cable
length of 50 m. In some situations, longer connecting cables up to 1000 m are possible. The
current consumption of the connected reader must however be taken into account. You will
find further information in the relevant system manuals.
Joining more than two cables to form a long cable should be avoided due to the additional
contact resistances.
