2.1 General information
This wall-mounted enclosure left the factory in perfect condition with regard to safety. To
maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation of the wall-mounted enclosure, read the
notes and warning notices specied in these instructions.
2.2 Laws and directives
Observe the provisions of the test certicate valid for your country.
Electrical connection in hazardous areas
WARNING
When using in hazardous areas, observe the following:
- The regulations applicable in the country of application for the installation and operation of
devices in hazardous areas.
- In the countries of the European Union, the national implementation of the EU Directive
1999/92/EC.
- In Germany, this is the BetrSichV (Operational Safety Ordinance).
- The provision for the installation of electrical systems in hazardous areas EN 60079-14
(VDE0165) and EN1127-1.
- The EC-type examination certicate.
All work on electrical circuits for systems subject to explosion hazard must be carried out by
qualied personnel.
