maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation of the wall-mounted enclosure, read the
notes and warning notices speci󹪝ed in these instructions.
2.2 Laws and directives
Observe the provisions of the test certi󹪝cate valid for your country.
Electrical connection in hazardous areas
WARNING
When using in hazardous areas, observe the following:
- The regulations applicable in the country of application for the installation and operation of
devices in hazardous areas.
- In the countries of the European Union, the national implementation of the EU Directive
1999/92/EC.
- In Germany, this is the BetrSichV (Operational Safety Ordinance).
- The provision for the installation of electrical systems in hazardous areas EN 60079-14
(VDE0165) and EN1127-1.
- The EC-type examination certi󹪝cate.
All work on electrical circuits for systems subject to explosion hazard must be carried out by
quali󹪝ed personnel.
