ATEX/IECEx approval
Additionally to the installation instructions in the user manual of IPC477D the following
specifications must be observed for installation in hazardous locations.
The device has to be used in pollution degree 2 environment only.
Use copper supply wires of at least 0.75 mm

Note
Installation
You have to install the device so that the complete device conforms to IP65.
The front panel of the mounted device confirms to IP65.
DC-Version
If a main circuit breaker for DC-supply should be installed in hazardous locations as
described above it has to be intended for use in that area. Otherwise it must be installed in
an area which is known to be non-hazardous.
Risk of explosion when connecting or disconnecting the device
EXPLOSION HAZARD
WARNING - EXPLOSION HAZARD - Do not connect or disconnect while circuit is live
unless area is known to be non-hazardous.
