A.2 Functions of the individual roles (privilege matrix)

Administrator
Commissioning engineer
Service engineer
Machine operator
Administrator
The administrator may perform all necessary administration activities. In contrast to
the role of the commissioning engineer, these include at the working PC / machine
PC:
• Creating a new machine
• Activating / deactivating a machine
• Deleting a machine
• Creating a user
• Editing master data / password of any user
• Activating / deactivating a user
• Viewing / editing organizational data
Note
The administrator may not connect any machines.
Commissioning engineer
The commissioning engineer may perform and view all necessary configuration
activities.
Note
Only a commissioning engineer with administrator privilege may create a new
machine as a copy of an existing machine.
Service engineer
The service engineer may view all configurations. In addition, the service engineer
may create or edit the following configurations at the PC – UI:
• Personal password
• Resetting filter and search settings
• Configuring the maintenance schedule (creating, editing, copying, deleting,
etc.)
• Service case (creating, editing, copying, deleting, etc.)
• Activating / deactivating individual control monitors
• Activating / deactivating all control monitors
• New trigger participate in a common start date
• Preparing files to be downloaded into the machine
Machine operator
At the control, the machine operator may perform pending maintenance jobs and
condition monitoring tests, request fault processing, and participate in a
Teleservice session.
