5.3 Output coupling
NOTICE
Motor damage caused by rotating forces
Output couplings, especially sti󹪜 metal bellows-type couplings can exercise rotating forces on
the shaft. These forces can result in bearing motion and in turn damage the motor.
• Rotating forces are not permissible.
To achieve optimum output characteristics, we recommend ROTEX

GS couplings from the KTR
company.

• 2 to 4x torsional sti󹪜ness of a belt gearbox
• No teeth meshing (when compared to a belt gearbox)
