5.3 Network Configurations for DTE without RTS/CTS
The MD2 operating mode "Normal with DTR/RTS on" can be used in network
configurations with data terminal equipment (e.g. SIMATIC CPs) that cannot
control the MD2 through the RTS and CTS control signals. Only a point-to-point
connection in 4-wire full-duplex transmission mode is possible with this operating
mode. The following table provides an overview.
