Factory Default Settings for DIL Switches
The MD2 modem is delivered with all DIL switches set in the OFF position. This
corresponds to the following default setting:
· Send level –6 dB
· 4-wire mode
· Channel 1 ON (fixed setting for 4-wire mode)
· Baud rate 1200 bps
· Normal operating mode
· A message consists of a string of 11-bit asynchronous characters.
· Control output switches with RTS (only relevant for connection to radio)
With the factory default settings the switches appear as shown in the following
illustration.
