4.2 Orienting the sensor

Rupture disc
The two black rupture discs prevent overpressure in the enclosure. In case of a tube fracture
generating overpressure in the enclosure, the rupture discs will immediately burst and keep
the pressure at a safe level.

Note
The enc
losure of the sensor does not fulfil any containment function.
4.2 Orienting the sensor
Flow direction
The calibrated flow direction is indicated by the arrow on the sensor. Flow in this direction
will be indicated as positive (a forward/reverse flow calibration is available as an option).
CAUTION
The sensor must always be completely filled with gas in order to measure accurately.
