Orienting the sensor
SITRANS FCS200 operates in any orientation, but Siemens recommends orienting the
sensor in one of the following ways:
1. Vertical orientation with an upwards flow

4.3 Mounting the sensor
● Install two pipe hangers with rubber inserts symmetrically and stress free on the
enclosure ends as shown below.
Sensor end dimensions are described in the Dimensions chapter (Page 34) of the
Operating Instruction
s.
● Mount the pipe hangers on a solid, vibration free foundation or frame
● Center the connecting pipelines axially in order to assure a stress-free installation.
