Open veri󹪝cations in expired licenses can be recovered by activating a new license within 14
months after expiration date.
Usage
When a Veri󹪝cator runs a veri󹪝cation, the number of remaining permitted veri󹪝cations is
decremented by 1.
When a Veri󹪝cator runs a veri󹪝cation again on the same device (DUT) within one week, the
number of remaining veri󹪝cations on the license is not decremented.
Information about installed licenses can be browsed in the mobile IQ app while connected to
a Veri󹪝cator. This information includes:
• the number of licenses
• the remaining permitted veri󹪝cations per license
• the expiration date(s) of the license(s).
If the number of remaining licenses runs low you will get a noti󹪝cation through the mobile IQ
app.
Ordering of new licenses
A license can be ordered through PIA Life Cycle Portal (https://www.pia-
portal.automation.siemens.com) or through your local sales representative. Issuing a new
license can take up to 5 working days and will be sent by email. It is recommended to order a new
license at the same time as you do the Annual calibration (Page37).
