Removing or replacing the battery



1. Push down the latch on the battery compartment lid.
2. Open up the battery compartment lid.
3. To replace slide out the installed battery 󹪝rst. Insert the new battery.
4. Close the battery compartment in reverse order.
5. You can turn the Veri󹪝cator test unit back on.

6.5 Charging the battery
Battery status indicator
The current battery level can be checked in the mobile IQ app or on the battery itself. If you push
the button on the battery 1-4 LEDs light up shortly, showing the current battery charge level.
The indicator LED lights red while the Veri󹪝cator test unit is running. The LED is blinking on
starting up or shutting down. Further information about LED behavior can be found under

Note
Battery empty
If you turn on the Vericator and the LED starts blinking but turns o󹪜, this means that the battery
is empty. Charge the battery and try again.
