As a free standing interface but with Stratos capability to monitor faults via the serial
interface – see 3.3 Controller Monitor.

The RS232 serial cable is used only for remote handset.
The following data is transferred between the controller and the outstation via TR2523
compliant voltage-free relay contacts.
UTC control and reply signals (stage force, confirm etc)
MOVA stage forces and confirms
Detectors for SCOOT and UTC are wired directly to the outstation.
A dedicated input is provided for the controller lamp supply voltage (see section 3.9).
