7.3.4 Replacing the Internal Backup Battery
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
The following procedure should be followed to change the internal backup battery:
1. Isolate the battery with the ‘BATTERY’ isolation switch on the front panel.
2. Power off the unit and disconnect the mains supply and lamp supply monitor
connector.
3. Loosen the four battery cover nuts as identified in the photo below and remove the
battery cover.
