Appendix C. Battery removal and installation
Battery removal
D10:
• Remove the lower front panel by unscrewing the knurled screws.
• Pull the batteries out of the battery holder.
• If batteries are to be replaced, one battery at the time can be
replaced to keep the unit running while the replacement is done.
D10 Micro:
• Use protective footwear when working with heavy batteries
• Turn off the D10 Micro (see chapter 6.9.9 Power Off and
Reboot)
• Release the strap holding the battery
• Disconnect the short special battery cable from the longer battery
cable
• Remove the battery from the enclosure
Battery installation
D10:
• Remove the lower front panel by unscrewing the knurled screws.
• Carefully, insert Sigicom B100 batteries into the battery holders
• If batteries are to be replaced, one battery at the time can be
replaced to keep the unit running while the replacement is done.
• Start the D10 and check the state of charge of the battery
D10 Micro:
• Use protective footwear when working with heavy batteries
