RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Disconnect the plug  from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids! Otherwise
there is a risk of an electric shock.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it. Risk of burns!
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Never immerse the base  in water for cleaning! Otherwise, the appli-
ance could be irreparably damaged!
■ Wipe the cooking plate  and base  with a moist cloth. Add a little mild
detergent on the cloth to remove stubborn dirt.
■ Clean the batter spreader  and the crêpe spatula  in water with a little
washing up liquid. Rinse them off with clear water and then dry the batter
spreader  and the crêpe spatula  with a tea towel.
NOTE
► You can also wash the cooking plate , the batter spreader  and the
crêpe spatula  in the dishwasher.
► If you clean them in the dishwasher, please ensure that the batter spreader 
and the crêpe spatula  cannot become jammed between other objects.
This could lead to them becoming deformed! If possible, place the batter
spreader  and the crêpe spatula  in the top basket of the dishwasher.
Storage
■ Do not put the appliance away until it has cooled down and been cleaned.
■ Wind the cable  around the cable retainer  and fasten the power plug
with the cable clip.
■ Store the appliance in a clean and dry location.
