1. Remove all packing material.
2. Check to ensure that all parts are pres-
ent and undamaged.
3. Disassemble the device (see “Disman-
tling the device” on page 30).
4. Clean the device prior to first
use! (see “Cleaning and servicing the
device” on page 31).
5. Figure A: wind the excess power
cable3 around the cable spool14 on
the underside of the base unit9.
6. Place the base unit9 on a level, dry
and waterproof surface, so that the de-
vice can neither fall nor slip off.
Select a smooth, clean surface, so that
the suction feet8 can stick firmly in
place and ensure a secure grip.
CAUTION:
~ Overflowing liquid would flow onto the
surface. You should therefore place the
device on a waterproof surface.
