TheRangesettingdeneshow"far"youwishtheST90todetectechoes.Inotherwords,you
specifythehorizontalorverticaldistancefromthevesseltotheouteredgeofthesearcharea.

Therangevalueselectedandshownisbydefaultonlyusedbytheactiveview.
Eventhoughyoucanchoosealargerangevalue,thatdoesnotmeanthatyoucandetect
yourtargetsonthesamerange.Therangevalueonlydenestherangethatisshowninthe
views.Actualtargetdetectionwillalwaysdependontheoperationalenvironment,suchas
watertemperature,salinity,interferenceandlayersinthewatercolumn.
Theselectedrangeisdividedintoidenticaldistances.Theseareshownasdottedcircles.
