Balancin9 the
buttonhole
On some kinds of fabrics, there mav be a
difference in the densitv of the stitcheson the
right or the left side of the buttonhole.
ThisiseasilVadjusted bVturning the balance
knob (1), in the center of the stitch length
dial to balance the densitv of the stitching.
A verv slight turn of the dial will produce a
noticeable change.
• If the stitches on the right side of the
buttonhole (1) are too open, turn the
balance dial slightlv to the right, until the
densitv of the stitchesincreases.
• Ifthestitcheson the leftsideofthe buttonhole
( Il) are too open, turn the balance slightiV
to the left, until the densitv of the stitches
increases.

Enalgunostiposde tejidos,puede producirse
una diferencia en la densidad de los puntos
bien en ellado derecho 0 en el izquierdodei
ojal.
Estadiferencia se ajusta facilmente girando
el boton (1) situado en el centro dei dial
de longitud dei punto, para nivelar la
densidad dei punto.
Ungiro muv ligero dei boton, producirâ un
cambio notable.
• Silos puntos dei lado derecho dei ojal ( )
estan demasiado abiertos, gire el bot6n
ligeramente hacia la derecha, hasta que
aumente la densidad de los puntos.
• Si los puntos dei lado izquierdo dei ojal
( Il) estân demasiado abiertos, gire el
nivelador ligeramente hacia la izquierda,
hasta que la densidad de los puntos
aumente.
Equilibrage de la
boutonnière
Dans certains tissus,il peut apparaître une
différence de densité de point entre la lèvre
gauche et la lèvre droite de la boutonnière.
Cettedifférencepeut êtrecorrigée en tournant
le bouton (1) situé au centre du sélecteur
de largeur de point.
Un déplacement, même très faible, de ce
bouton modifie la densité.
• Siles pOintsde la lèvre droite ( ) sonttrop
ouverts,tournez le bouton Poussoirvers la
droite jusqu'à ce que la densité des points
augmente.
• Si les points de la lèvre gauche (II) sont
trop ouverts,tournezle bouton POussoirvers
la gauche jusqu'à ce que la densité des
pOintsaugmente.
