2. Open the test and disconnect terminals.
3. Connect the function generator to the test and disconnect terminals (see function generator manual).
4. Check the limiting values set for the grid monitoring parameters:
Use the function generator to create a simulated line voltage for the Sunny Central. Always comply with the
nominal AC voltage of the Sunny Central.
Record the configured limiting values for the grid monitoring parameters in the commissioning report.
5. Disconnect the function generator from the test and disconnect terminals.
15.5 Important Measures in Case of Non-Utilized Options
Unused Remote Shutdown
If the remote shutdown is not used, set the parameter ExtStrStpEna to Off during commissioning
(see operating manual).
Unused Transformer Protection
If the transformer protection option is not used, set the parameter ExtTrfErrEna to Off during commissioning
(see operating manual).
15.6 Inserting the Disconnection Blades
Procedure:
1. If you are using an SMB Connection Kit, insert the disconnection
blades. Use an LV/HRC fuse handle.
2. Screw the protective cover over the fuses.
Replace LV/HRC size-3 fuses with disconnection blades
If you are using the Sunny Central with the SMB Connection Kit, you will need to replace the extracted LV/HRC
size 3 fuses at the respective fuse inputs with disconnection blades.
