SNR Signal to Noise Ratio. The measure compares the
level of a desired signal to the level of background
noise. It is defined as the ratio of signal power to the
noise power. The higher the SNR value, the better is
the signal.
Pre BER Bit error rate before the error correction („pre“ = „be-
fore“). BER = number of falsified bits during a time pe-
riod / total number of bits in this period.
Post BER Bit error rate after the error correcti
on („post“ = „after“).
