Check the correctness of your entries. If the entries are incorrect, the
MaxWeb XPN may no longer be accessible via the Ethernet interface after a
reboot. Just in case, write down the values you have set before you reboot
the MaxWeb XPN. The IP address can be seen in the "Basic settings>Connec-
tions" menu (see Section 7.2.6).
Note
When using the MaxWeb XPN via Ethernet, make sure that the following ports
of your Internet connection are open to the outside. If you have any questions,
ask your system administrator.

Modifying the network settings for Windows 7
1. Connect the MaxWeb XPN with the Ethernet interface of your PC.
2. From Windows 7, open the menu “Control panel > Network and Internet > View
network status and tasks > Change adapter settings” to obtain an overview of all
LAN connections.
3. Now select the LAN connection to which the MaxWeb XPN is connected using the
right mouse button. A menu opens.
4. In the menu of the LAN connection, select the menu item “Properties”. The window
“Status of LAN connections” opens.
5. In the window “Status of LAN connections, click on the Properties button. The window
“Properties of LAN connections” opens.
6. In the window “Properties of LAN connections”, select the option “Internet protocol
version 4 (TCP / UPv4)” and then click on the Properties button.
7. Now tick the option “Use the following IP address” and enter the following addresses
for IP address, subnet mask and standard gateway:

IP address 192.168.1.230
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Standard gateway 192.168.1.1
8. Then conrm your entries by clicking on the OK button in all windows.
