■  Power
Power is used to select the amount of ultrasound acoustic power produced by the probe. The adjustment range
of the power is 1-100%, and ±1% can be adjusted each time. The real time value of the power is displayed in the
imaging information area on the basic screen.
To adjust the power:
Tap the left part of
Power% 
on the touch screen to decrease the value.
Tap the right part of
Power% 
on the touch screen to increase the value.
NOTE:
Expose the patient to the lowest practical transmit power level for the shortest possible period of time to
achieve a satisfactory diagnosis.
■  Tissue Acoustic Characteristics
Tissue acoustic characteristics refer to the speed of ultrasound passing through the tissue. Tissue acoustic
characteristics optimize the image used for measurements and calculations. The greater the tissue acoustic
characteristics the faster the ultrasound passes through the tissues.
To adjust tissue acoustic characteristics:
Tap the left part of
Tissue Acou
on the touch screen to decrease the value.
Tap the right part of
Tissue Acou
on the touch screen to increase the value.
■  Image Rotation
You can rotate the image to get more information. Only transvaginal and transrectal exams are available for this
feature
To rotate the image:
Tap the left or right part of
Rotation
on the touch screen to rotate the image.
NOTE:
Take notice of the depth calibration displayed at the bottom of the basic screen when the image is rotated by
90º or 270º.
■  μScan
μScan is used to improve the image quality.
To use μScan:
Tap the left part of μScan on the touch screen to decrease the value.
Tap the right part of μScan on the touch screen to increase the value.
NOTE:
Ensure the dongle is inserted before you enable the μScan feature.
■  Trapezoidal Imaging
Trapezoidal imaging is used to enlarge the imaging area when performing a real time scan by using the linear
probes.
To use trapezoidal imaging:
Tap
Trapezoid 
on the touch screen to enable the feature.
Or, tap
Trapezoid 
again on the touch screen to disable the feature.
NOTE:
Only the linear probes are available for trapezoidal imaging.
