    • Do not apply force on the conductor during soldering or unsoldering.
  • AC Leakage Check: After repairs, perform an AC leakage check on all exposed metal parts to ensure safety. The leakage current must not exceed 0.5 mA (500 microamperes).
  • Disassembly Procedures: Detailed exploded views and step-by-step instructions are provided for disassembling the cover, tape mechanism deck, front panel, CD mechanism deck, and upper chassis.
  • Electrical Confirmations and Adjustments:
    • Deck Section: Includes procedures for demagnetizing the record/playback head, checking playback level, REC level confirmation, REC bias confirmation, and tape speed adjustment.
    • Adjustment Location: Specific adjustment points on the MAIN board are identified for playback level, REC level, and REC bias. The tape speed adjustment is located on the loading motor in the mechanism deck.
  • Parts List: Comprehensive lists of parts, including accessories, packing materials, semiconductors, capacitors, resistors, coils, jacks, and switches, are provided with part numbers and descriptions for easy replacement.
