The universal dock adapter is now in place. See Figure 9 below.

4) Line up your iPhone with the docking tray connector in the middle of the docking tray.

5) Push your iPhone down onto the docking tray connector.
6) Ensure that your iPhone is securely fastened (e.g., that your iPhone is pushed down all
the way and doesn’t move around).
Your iPhone is now attached to the System.
Charging your iPod
