4) Confirm that the OPR/BATT light is green on the front of the System. See Figure 16
below.

The System powers on.
If you use the remote commander to operate the System, ensure that you replace the
battery for the remote commander with a Sony CR2025 lithium battery only–use of another
battery may present a risk of a fire or an explosion, causing damage to the System.
You cannot power on the System using the remote commander if you are using a battery
power source–you have to use an electric power (e.g., the AC power adapter) to do this.
To preserve the life of the battery in the remote commander, remove the battery if you
are not using the remote commander.
Playing your Music
Playing your music is a procedure that shows you how to play music stored on your iPod or
iPhone using the remote commander. The procedure provides you with step-by-step
instructions and graphics to help you learn how to complete this task. Playing your music
using the remote commander alleviates the need to have to exert yourself–getting up off the
couch to hit the play button.
