Standard You can set the bandwidth for signals undergoing
contour emphasis. For example, when you select
[Middle], the middle range of the signals is elevated
and contours in that middle range are emphasized.
Crispening 0 to 7 3 You can set the fineness for the objects to which
c
ontour correction signals are added. When you
select a higher value, minute contour correction
signal elements are removed, and only the high level
contour correction signals which reduces noise are
left. When you select a lower value, minute contour
correction signal elements which increases noise are
added to the video.
HV Balance –2 to +2 0 You can set the aspect ratio for contour correction
sign
al elements. When you select a higher value, the
horizontal contour correction elements become
greater compared to the vertical elements.
BW Balance Type 0/Type 1/
Type 2/Type 3/
Type 4
Type 2 You can adjust the balance between contours in black
on t
he low brightness side and contours in white on
the high brightness side.
The ratio of contours in black is higher for [Type 0]
whil
e the ratio of contours in white is higher for [Type
4].
Limit 0 to 7 3 You can set the maximum value for the amount of
contour emphasis in black on the low brightness side
and in white on the high brightness side.
Highlight Detail 0 to 4 0 You can adjust the contour level added to brightly-lit
objec
ts.
The higher the value, the greater the contour
em
phasis. Set when you want to emphasize the
contour of a brightly-lit object in a bright background.
Super Low 0 to 7 3 Emphasizes contours in the super low range.
The higher the value, the greater the contour
e
mphasis. Contrast and resolution increase.

[Simple]: Sets the noise reduction strength of 2D/3D

[Advanced]: Sets the noise reduction strength of 2D/

individually and removes noise simultaneously.
NR (XDNR) 0 to 5 3 Sets the noise reduction level.
When selecting [0], the noise reduction function is
turned to Off. The higher the number, the greater the
noise reduction effect.
You can set when [NR Mode] is set to [Simple].
