If the speaker pattern is set to 4.0.4, 4.1.4, 5.0.4 or 5.1.4, the sound is not output from the
SPEAKERS HEIGHT 2 terminals when [SB Speaker Assign] is set to the setting other than [Off].

You can only set the assignment for the SPEAKERS HEIGHT 1 (ZONE 2) terminals if the speaker
pattern is set to 2.0, 2.1, 3.0, 3.1, 4.0, 4.1, 5.0, 5.1, 5.0 (SB), 5.1 (SB), 6.0, 6.1, 6.0 (SB), 6.1 (SB),
7.0 or 7.1.

Adjusting the speaker size (Size)
You can adjust the size of each speaker (front left/right, center, surround left/right, surround
back left/right, height1 left/right, height2 left/right).
Hint
The surround back speakers will be set to the same setting as that of the surround speakers.
Select [Setup] - [Speaker Setup] from the home menu.

Select [SB Speaker Assign].

Select any of the following settings.
Zone2: When using Zone 2 connection.
Bi-Amp: When using the bi-amplifier connection.
Front B: When using the front B speaker connection.
Off: When none of the connections above are used.

Select [Setup] - [Speaker Setup] from the home menu.

Zone2: When using Zone 2 connection.
Off: When none of the connections above are used.

Select [Size].

Select the speaker on the screen for which you want to adjust the size.

Select the size you want.
Large: If you connect large speakers that will effectively reproduce bass frequencies,
select [Large]. Select [Large] usually.
Small: If the sound is distorted, or you hear a lack of surround effects when using multi
channel surround sound, select [Small]. You can activate the bass redirection circuitry
and output the bass frequencies of each channel from the subwoofer or other [Large]
speakers.
