9.3. REPLACING THE GAS CANISTER AND TUBING
1) Check that the on/off gas valve is in the off (down) position.
2) Pull the silicone rubber tubing from the brass fitting on the top of the gas canister and the lid shutter
assembly.
3) Remove the gas canister by lifting it out of the holder on the rear of the Tester.
4) Invert the replacement gas canister so that the transparent section is uppermost.
5) Charge the canister with butane through the filler valve, situated in the base of the transparent
section, until the liquid level is within a few millimetres of the filler valve.
6) Check that the brass insert in the top of the canister is screwed in fully.
7) Insert the filled gas canister into the holder with the brass insert to the top.
8) Re-connect the silicon rubber tubing to the brass insert (push fit).
9) Re-connect the silicone rubber tubing to the lid/shutter assembly (push fit).
