iQ Controller Fine Tuning

Match your actual door to one from the list of doors described in Aachment 10. Start by installing these sengs.
Use the guide below to make adjustments to these sengs.
SWING DOOR:
SYMPTOM RECOMMENDED SOLUTION
Door opens too slowly. 1. Increase Open Speed

Door closes too slowly. 1. Adjust Close Speed Module or Power Close Speed Module

2. Check for mechanical binding.
Door hits the open stop too hard. 1. Increase Open Check Length unl door slows down a considerable distance
from the Open Stop.
2. Increase Open Braking unl the door slows down into Open Check.
3. Decrease Open Check Speed if door speeds up aer slowing down into
Open Check.
4. Increase Open Stop unl door no longer hits the open stop.
Door stalls while opening without
any mechanical reason.
1. Increase Open Obstruction Time and/or Open Check Obstruction Time.
2. Make small increases to Open Torque
1
and/or Open Check Torque.
Door creeps closed from full open. 1. Increase Stall Torque one count at a me unl the open posion is stable.
2. To verify new seng, door must be cycled open and return to full closed.
NOTES:
1. Open Torque is also used to set the door open force.
2. Open / Close Speeds and Forces must comply with UL and ANSI/BHMA A156.19 or 156.10 requirements.
