3.3.3 MECHANICAL STROKE SETTING & ADJUSTMENT
3.3.3.1 INITIAL STROKE SETTING
Length (L) Pin Adjustment (Number of Rotations)
15mm 12 full rotations (CW)
16mm 11 full rotations (CW)
17mm 10 full rotations (CW)
18mm 9 full rotations (CW)
19mm 8 full rotations (CW)
20mm 7 full rotations (CW)
21mm 6 full rotations (CW)
22mm 5 full rotations (CW)
23mm 4 full rotations (CW)
• Determine Application pin stick out length in millimeters (“L” in gure above).
• Remove battery pack from fully assembled tool.
• Insert adjustment wrench into tool as shown, and engage stroke adjustment pin.
• Rotate wrench counter clockwise all the way
• Consult table below and based on Neobolt pin length, obtain the required ajustment value
• Rotate wrench clockwise the number of rotations indicated by table above.
• Remove wrench and reinstall battery.
• Set part and verify tool stroke length.
Underswaged (add
stroke)
Overswaged
(decrease stroke)
3.3.3.2 STROKE ADJUSTMENT
If tool is overswaging or underswaging:
• Remove battery and re-insert wrench into tool
• Adjust the tool stroke by rotating the Stroke Adjustment Pin (N) to achieve the desired NeoBolt®
installation.
• Each rotation of the Stroke Adjustment Pin (N) changes tool stroke by 1mm (0.04”)
• If underswaging - To increase the stroke, rotate Stroke Adjustment Pin (N) counter-clockwise.
• If overswaging - To Reduce the stroke, rotate Stroke Adjustment Pin (N) clockwise (CW).
• Verify setting by setting a part.
• Repeat adjustment as needed.
