How to troubleshoot a Stellar Labs Construction Equipment crane that won't operate?
    • B
      Brandon MooreAug 20, 2025
If your Stellar Labs Construction Equipment crane isn't operating, start by ensuring the parking brake is engaged and, if applicable, the PTO is also engaged. Verify that the radio receiver is receiving 12V power, checking for blown fuses or loose ground connections if necessary. Also, ensure the transmitter batteries are fully charged if they are rechargeable. Finally, confirm the hydraulic pump is operating at its rated flow (GPMs) using a flow meter; a weak pump may require contacting Stellar Customer Service.

Why is my stellar labs EC3200 Construction Equipment crane operating so slowly?
    • M
      Madeline BryantAug 22, 2025
If your Stellar Labs Construction Equipment crane is operating slowly, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the crane is receiving the recommended GPMs to operate efficiently. Check the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir and add fluid if necessary. Also, the valve bank orifice could be plugged, requiring replacement (contact Stellar Customer Service for instructions). Finally, confirm the solenoid valves are receiving power; check for loose connections or consider replacing the handle trigger assembly. If the proportional valve is receiving 12 volts, check if the solenoid coil is magnetizing, and if not, replace the coil. If the coil is magnetizing, remove, clean, lubricate, and reinstall the stem valve.

What to do if stellar labs EC3200 Construction Equipment crane functions operate intermittently with the radio remote?
    • C
      Christine HernandezAug 25, 2025
If some functions of your Stellar Labs Construction Equipment crane operate intermittently or not at all via the radio remote, first check the toggle switch for proper operation and replace it if defective. Next, ensure power is reaching the valve bank coil solenoid for the non-operational function. Inspect wiring connections on the wire harness plug connector for any issues like broken wires, loose connections, or poor crimps. If power is reaching the solenoid valve but the function still doesn't work, the valve might be blocked; remove, clean, lubricate, and reinstall it, being careful not to overtighten. Replace the valve if it remains closed.

How to fix a stellar labs EC3200 crane that operates manually but not electrically?
    • K
      Kristopher LyonsAug 27, 2025
If your Stellar Labs Construction Equipment crane operates manually but not electrically, begin by verifying that the radio receiver is receiving 12V power. If there's no power, trace back to the source and check for blown fuses or loose ground connections. Also, ensure the parking brake is engaged. Check the parking brake switch by performing a continuity test. If the switch is defective, simply replace it.

Why does the cylinder drift outward or downward on my stellar labs EC3200 Construction Equipment?
    • J
      James MartinezAug 28, 2025
If the cylinder on your Stellar Labs Construction Equipment drifts outward or downward, several issues could be responsible. First, check for air in the hydraulic system by operating all cylinders, extending them halfway, retracting them fully, and then extending them to the end of their stroke, repeating the cycle 2-3 times. Next, ensure the holding valves are functioning correctly by removing, cleaning, and inspecting them, remembering to relieve pressure before removal and reset the valve upon reinstallation. Also, inspect the cylinder rod for scratches, which can cause pressure loss, and replace the rod or cylinder if necessary. Finally, check the piston seals for damage and replace the cylinder seal kit if needed.

What causes the winch 'Up' and main cylinder 'Down' functions to not operate on stellar labs EC3200 Construction Equipment?
    • L
      Lee BrownAug 30, 2025
If the winch 'Up' and main cylinder 'Down' functions are the only ones not operating on your Stellar Labs Construction Equipment, first check that the anti 2-block cradle bracket is properly activating the limit switch at the boom tip and that the cradle bracket is correctly aligned. Next, verify the limit switch is working correctly by disconnecting and tying together the two wires connected to it; if all functions then operate, replace the limit switch. Finally, ensure the cord for the cord reel is undamaged by checking its continuity; disconnect the cord reel from the crane harness and bypass the harness connection, and if the crane operates properly, replace the cord reel.

Why are two functions operating simultaneously on my stellar labs EC3200 Construction Equipment when only one is toggled?
    • W
      waltersjacobSep 1, 2025
If two functions on your Stellar Labs Construction Equipment are operating at the same time when only one is toggled, ensure that all solenoid valves are in the center position. Determine which function is operating on its own and check for power going to its solenoid valve when it shouldn't be. If voltage is present without operating the function, the toggle switch may be stuck in the “on” position and needs replacement. If no voltage is present, the solenoid valve may be partially open; remove, clean, lubricate, and reinstall the valve, being careful not to overtighten. Replace the valve if it will not close.

What to do if Stellar Labs Construction Equipment crane operates manually but not by radio remote?
    • A
      Ashley CarterSep 5, 2025
If your Stellar Labs Construction Equipment crane operates manually but not via radio remote, start by checking for electrical power to the radio receiver. If there's no power, trace back to the source, looking for blown fuses or loose ground connections. Next, ensure the parking brake is engaged and that the parking brake switch functions correctly. You can test the switch with a continuity test; replace it if defective.
