English 11 Working with the Cultivator
► Detach retaining pin (1) and remove pin (2).
► Fold up front wheel (3) so bores (4) align.
► Insert pin (2) through bores (4).
► Push retaining pin (1) through the bore in pin (2).
Pin (2) is secured and front wheel (3) is in the operating
position.
11.2 Holding and Guiding the Tiller
► Hold the tiller with both hands on handles (1) so the
thumbs enclose the handles.
11.3 Loosening Firm Soil or Working Soil Additives
into Loose Soil
► Place the front wheel in the operating position.
► Start the engine.
► Guide the tiller forwards and regulate the working speed
and working depth using the blade spur.
► Move forwards slowly and in a controlled manner.
► If the hoes become blocked:
► Engage reverse gear.
► Guide the tiller slowly backwards until the hoes free
themselves.
► Set the gear.
► Move forwards slowly and in a controlled manner.
11.4 Tilling Loose Soil
► Place the front wheel in the operating position.
► Start the engine.
