26 Installation Examples
U-shaped mowing area with several free-standing trees:
– Docking station: Location (1) next to the house (A)
– Restricted area: Installation around the free-standing
trees, based on linking sections installed at right angles to
the perimeter of the mowing area (2), two restricted areas
are connected via a linking section.
– Swimming pool: Distance between perimeter wire (2) and
pool B: 3.3 ft. (1 m)
– Wire clearances:
– Clearance from obstacles which can be travelled on,
such as patios and paths with a maximum height
difference between lawn area and obstacle of +/- 0.4 in.
(1 cm): 0 in. (0 cm)
– Clearance from high obstacles: 11 in. (28 cm)
– Clearance from the trees: 11 in. (28 cm)
– Programming: No further modification is necessary
following definition of the size of the mowing area.
– Particulars: Tree in the corner of the mowing area. Mow
the area behind the blocked-off tree regularly using a
suitable trimmer or other tool.
