: Set the control lever to START
= starting throttle position
: Set the choke lever to e =
warm start position, even if the
engine is cold
: Restart the engine
If the tank has been drained completely
and then refilled:
: Pull the starter rope through several
times until sufficient fuel is
delivered.
Soiled air filters will reduce the engine
performance, increase fuel consumption
and make it more difficult to start the
machine.
If the engine performance
declines tangibly:
: Unscrew the locking nut (1) on the
filter cover
: Remove the filter cover (2)
: Remove the prefilter (3) from the
filter cover
Wet prefilters must be dried before
being knocked or blown clean.
Replace if damaged.
: Remove any coarse dirt inside the
filter cover
: Replace the prefilter in the filter
cover so that the dowel pin (4) fits
into the opening in the filter.
: Refit the filter cover.
