10.8 Manifold
10.9 Tank housing
The (small) left-hand half of the
housing can be replaced
separately if damaged.
The complete tank housing must be
replaced if the (large) righthand half
of the housing is damaged.
- Remove crankcase, see 5.9.1.
- Drain tank.
Note: Fuel must be disposed of
correctly.
- Remove carburetor, see 10.2.2.
- Remove air guide cover,
see 10.7.
Remove sleeve from manifold.
Unscrew the screws in the left
half of the housing.
Press flange of manifold out of the
opening in the tank housing.
- Remove manifold from intake
port.
Position manifold on the intake
port so that the straight edges of
the manifold and intake port are
lined
Remove hose clip for manifold.
Fit hose clip (1) so that tensioning
screw (2) is at the top.
Tighten tensioning screw so that a
gap of a = 6 ± 0.5 mm remains
between the tabs.
The parts are reassembled in
reverse order.
Draw out pin (1).
Draw rubber buffer (2) out of
mount.
