Remove the oil cap(1).
Disassemble the oil level gauge.
Add our recommended genuine oil by divid-
ing it into several portions for replenish-
ment.
NOTE
Add specified oil and then wait for about 1 ~ 2
minutes and then check the engine oil level.
Check whether the oil is smeared between
the upper limit and the lower limit of the oil
level gauge.
Repeat the above process until the engine
oil level reaches the appropriate level.
Assemble the engine oil level gauge.
Tighten the oil cap by hand. Over-tightening
may damage the cap.
Remove the engine oil drain pan from under
the engine
After this ,perform the final specification
Check if engine oil leaks after starting the
engine.
Start the engine and then stop it when it
reaches a normal temperature.
Wait for 5 ~ 10 minutes.
Check the engine oil level with the oil level
gauge.
CAUTION
Adding oil which exceeds the upper limit of the oil
level gauge may cause engine faults. If you have
added engine oil far over the upper limit of the oil lev-
el gauge, drain it until the engine oil level indicates
somewhere between the upper and lower limit of the
oil level gauge.
