Replacing the engine oil filter
– Remove the oil filter (1).
– Disassemble oil filter (1) with the filter
wrench.
CAUTION
Oil in the filter may run down while detaching the oil
filter. Be careful not to contaminate the other parts by
using a cloth when detaching the filter. After replac-
ing the oil filter, wipe clean any other parts which the
oil has touched.
– Clean the mounting surface of the engine
oil filter.
– Lightly spread engine oil over the rubber
packing (2) of the new oil filter (1).
– Temporarily assemble the new oil filter by
rotating it by hand.
– Assemble the oil filter with the filter wrench
at a torque of 16 ~ 20 N·m.
NOTE
Please refer to the engine spare parts manual
to find the part number of usable engine oil fil-
ters.
– Fill the engine with engine oil according to
the detailed instructions in "Filling up with
engine oil".
Replacement of Coolant
General genuine coolant: 1 year or 1,200
hours.
Genuine LCC coolant: 3 years or 6,000 hours.
NOTE
In the event that separate specifications from
the client are applied, use coolant which satis-
fies the standards below.
