Engine coolant specifications
Use a Long Life Coolant (LLC) or an Extended
Life Coolant (ELC) that meets or exceeds the
following guidelines and specifications.
Alternative engine coolant
If an Extended or Long Life Coolant is not
available, alternatively ,you may use an ethyl-
ene glycol or propylene glycol based conven-
tional coolant (green).
Notes:
1 ALWAYS use a mix of coolant and wa-
ter.NEVER use water only.
2 Mix coolant and water per the mixing in-
structions on the coolant container.
3 Water quality is important to coolant per-
formance. We recommends that soft, dis-
tilled, or demineralized water be used to
mix with coolants.
4 NEVER mix extended or long life cool-
ants and conventional (green) coolants.
5 NEVER mix different types and / or col-
ors of extended life coolants.
6 Replace the coolant according to "Sched-
uled maintenance."
