10. Using long-nose pliers, pinch the upper part of the stand-off pins and lift the defective board
up and out.
11. Using a 3/8" wrench and a no. 2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the nut/screw (D) holding the
ground cables to the board.
12. Reverse the above steps to install the new control board.
13. Test all the bed functions before returning the bed to service.

NURSE CALL (OPTIONAL) CONTROL BOARD REPLACEMENT
Required tools:
No. 2 Phillips Screwdriver
Procedure:
1. Raise the bed fully up and apply the brakes.
2. Unplug the bed power cord from the wall
outlet.
3. Remove the power cord from the power
connector and disengage it from the wire clip.
4. Properly ground yourself (see section 1.4).
5. Using a no. 2 Phillips screwdriver, remove
the six screws (A) holding the cover to the
head end casing. Keep the cable clips (B).
6. Once the screws removed, pivot the cover
and lay it flat on the bottom of the casing (see
opposite illustration).
