Mount the support at the same position than the one mentioned at step 4.
7. Pres the two switch clips to remove from the support.
8. Reverse the above steps to install the new micro switch.
9. Test the Auto Contour positioning for proper operation before returning the bed to service.
• 2nd Auto Contour Micro Switch
This switch tells the control board to start lowering the Knee Gatch when the Fowler is lowered
while the bed in the Auto Contour position.
1. Unplug the bed power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Using a no. 1 Phillips screwdriver, remove the two screws (D) holding the support to the
frame and remove the support.
3. Remove the cable wires from the switch. Note their location so they will be connected
correctly to the new switch.
4. Using a no.1 Phillips screwdriver, remove the two screws (E) holding the switch to the
support.
5. Reverse the above steps to install the new micro switch.
6. Test the Auto Contour positioning for proper operation before returning the bed to service.
