5.1 REQUIRED SKILLS
• Basic electronics techniques.
• Experience in the operation of an oscilloscope.

and techniques may risk damage to the
equipment or injury to the person carrying
out the procedure, subsequent operators, or
patient. Repairs should be made ONLY by
those that have been specifically trained in
the use of all pertinent and techniques.
5.2 ALIGNMENT AND CALIBRATION
1. Align and calibrate the unit per the instructions in MAP
0337.
2. If the lamp ballast or the control board were replaced,
then perform a burn-in and hot strike, per the instruc-
tions in MAP 0337.
