Installation instructions:
1. With sumps fully closed, attach center sump opener “L” handle (2) to center sump pull rod using
setscrews in shaft collars, and attach intermediate sump opener “L” handle (3) to intermediate
sump pull rod using setscrews in shaft collars.
2. Attach stationary bar (1) to connector sleeve using 3/8” bolts (5) and two rows of 3/8” nuts (6) as
shown in Fig. 39.
3. Slide connector sleeve as needed to line up innermost hole in stationary bar with hole in
intermediate sump opener “L” handle (3). Tighten hardware.
Open sump gates by sliding lever arm (4) through hole in opener handle and hole in stationary bar. Pull
arm away from bin to open sump(s) and push arm toward bin to close sump(s). Use other pry holes in
stationary bar as needed.
IMPORTANT: Always open and unload from center sump first. Never open intermediate sumps until
grain stops flowing from center sump.
