Installation instructions:
1. With sumps fully closed, loosely attach intermediate sump and center sump connectors (4 & 1) to
proper pull rod.
2. Bolt rack and pinion opener assembly (2) to sleeve connector using three bolt holes farthest from
bin wall.
3. Attach center sump connector (1) to rack & pinion opener using a 3/8 x 1" quick release pin (5).
4. Attach rubber cap (6) to handle (3) and attach handle to opener.
5. Make sure sump gates are completely closed and then attach connectors to one another using a
3/8" x 1" quick-release pin (5).
6. Tighten setscrews in shaft collars.
Open sump gates by rotating handle clockwise. Sump gates should open and close fully.
IMPORTANT: Always open and unload from center sump first. Never open intermediate sumps until
grain stops flowing from center sump.
