These settings allow the user to set the parameters of slots indicated above. Hit
<Enter> to activate the following sub-menu screen for detailed options of these
items. Set the correct configurations accordingly. The items included in the sub-
menu are the following:
Type
This option allows you to select the type of IDE hard drive. The option: Auto
allows the BIOS to automatically determine the hard drive's capacity, number
of heads, etc.). The option User allows the user to enter the parameters for the
HDD installed at this connection. Enter a number between 1 to 39 to select a
predetermined HDD type. Select CDROM if a CDROM drive is installed. Select
ATAPI if a removable disk drive is installed.
CHS Format
The following items will be displayed by the BIOS:
TYPE: This item displays the type of IDE or SATA Device.
Cylinders: This item indicates the status of Cylinders.
Headers: This item indicates the number of headers.
Sectors: This item displays the number of sectors.
Maximum Capacity: This item displays the maximum storage capacity of
the system.
