Chapter 4: Motherboard Connections
NC-SI Connector
The NC-SI (Network Controller Sideband Interface) connector is located at (JNCSI1). This
connector is used to connect a Network Interface Card (NIC) to the motherboard to allow the
onboard BMC (Baseboard Controller) to communicate with a network.

please refer to the Network Interface Card Con guration User's Guide posted on the web

6-pin BMC External I2C Header
A System Management Bus header for the BMC is located at JIPMB1. Connect the appropriate
cable here to use the IPMB I

C connection on your system. Refer to the motherboard layout
in Chapter 1 for the location of JIPMB1.
VROC RAID Key Header
A VROC RAID Key header is located at JRK1 on the motherboard. Install a VROC RAID key
on JRK1 for NVMe RAID support as shown in the illustration below. Refer to the motherboard
layout in Chapter 1 for the location of JRK1.
