Movable Drive Face Disassembly and Assembly

Refer to “Automatic Transmission Components
(Page 5A-5)” and “V-belt Type Continuously Variable
Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation
(Page 5A-7)”.
Disassembly
1) Remove the spacer (1).
2) Remove the dampers (2).
3) Remove the rollers (3).
4) Remove the oil seals (4) and (5).
NOTE
If there are no abnormal conditions, the oil
seal removal is not necessary.
Assembly
1) Install the oil seals with the special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set)
NOTE
The removed oil seal must be replaced with a
new one.
2) Apply grease to the lip of oil seals and inside grease
groove “A” of the movable drive face.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
CAUTION
!
• Wipe off any excess grease thoroughly.
• Take care not to apply grease to the
contact surface of the drive V-belt.
3) Assemble the rollers (1) to the movable drive face
(2).
