“32” (P0201) FUEL INJECTOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

INSPECTION
NOTE:
After repairing the trouble, clear the DTC using SDS tool.

Step 1
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Lift up the fuel tank by removing the fuel tank mounting bolt.
(5-3)
3) Check the fuel injector coupler for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then measure the fuel injector resistance.
4) Disconnect the fuel injector coupler and measure the resis-
tance between terminals.

Fuel injector resistance: Approx. 10.5 Ω at 20 °C (68 °F)

DETECTED CONDITION POSSIBLE CAUSE
Fuel injector signal is interrupted by 4 times or more
continuously although ignition signal is supplied from
the ECM.
• Injector circuit open or short
• Injector malfunction
• ECM malfunction

When using the multi circuit tester, do not strongly touch the terminal of the ECM coupler with
a needle-point probe to prevent the terminal damage or terminal bend.
