5.2 Performing the QC analysis with the control set on the
CS-5100 while analyzing a sample on the tracks
Through the host inquiry or manual order registration, you can perform the QC analysis with the control that is set on
the CS-5100 while analyzing a sample on the tracks.

5.2.1 Performing the QC analysis with the control set into the sample
rack while analyzing a sample on the tracks
1 Register the order.
An order registration is not required if you are analyzing through the host inquiry.

Set the sample rack containing controls in the right rack pool of the CS-5100
sampler.
This halts the analysis on the track sample and starts the QC analysis.
When aspiration of the control is completed, the analysis on the track sample will resume automatically.
5.2.2 Performing the QC analysis with the control set on the reagent
table while analyzing a sample on the tracks
1 Check that the control is set on the reagent table.
If not, set the control on the reagent table.

Register the order.
This halts the analysis on the track sample and starts the QC analysis.
When aspiration of the control is completed, the analysis on the track sample will resume automatically.
