According to the sample ID that was identified by the LAS, the instrument acquires the order information from
the host computer.
The sample on the tracks is carried to the sample aspiration position for the analysis.
3.2 Analyzing a sample while analyzing another sample on
the tracks
While analyzing a sample on the tracks, you can analyze another sample placed on the CS-5100 sampler and the
STAT sample.
3.2.1 Analyzing a sample on the sampler while analyzing another
sample on the tracks
Through the host inquiry or manual order registration, you can also analyze a sample that is set on the sampler
while analyzing another sample on the tracks.

1 Register the order.
An order registration is not required if you are analyzing through the host inquiry.

Set the sample rack containing a sample to the right rack pool of the CS-5100
sampler.
This halts the analysis on the tracks and starts the analysis on the sampler’s sample.
After aspiration of the sampler's sample is completed, the analysis on the tracks resumes automatically.
The sample on the tracks, sample on the sampler and STAT sample are analyzed in the
following priority order:
1. STAT sample
2. Sample on the sampler
3. Sample on the tracks
